Fadila, from Houston, Texas, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at age 4. Fadila has attended school in the in-hospital classrooms, gone to summer camp and joined many field trips and activities with other patients from the Children’s Cancer Hospital. She created the “Silver Heart,” “Swirls,” and “Woven Heart” designs.
