Allison is a native of Dearborn, Michigan, but she spent most of her growing up years in the Houston area. Diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) at age 11, Allison underwent a bone marrow transplant when she was 12. Today, she is happily married
and a graduate of Brigham Young University. One of the Children's Art Project's most prolific designers, Allison has had many pieces of her artwork featured in past collections. Allison was also a recipient of a Children's Art Project scholarship.
