Aly, deceased, was born in Austin, Texas. She passed away at age 7 after a battle with rhabdomyosarcoma. Featured on the cover of the project’s holiday catalogue in 1996, Aly loved art, riding her bike and, of course, painting her nails. Her "Rainbow with Kitty" is in the board book Colors.
