Direct mail volunteers assist in
packaging customer orders from the catalog and the web site.

Computer volunteers are a vital part of
the Children’s Art Project. Volunteers take on the responsibility of
entering names & addresses of potential customers into our database, along
with taking and/or entering customer orders into the database.
Volunteers also update lists of grocery store chains that sell our products &
track packages to verify status. To learn more about becoming a computer
volunteer, please call 713-745-2575 and ask to speak with a volunteer
coordinator.

the database, assist with mail-outs, help with filing, write thank-you notes, address catalogues, or complete other

The Children’s Art Project has a retail store in Uptown Park.
generously made available by Houston-based AmREIT. Volunteers help us year round a t
the boutique. Volunteers assist in greeting customers, re-stocking the boutique and customer
sales. The store is open Monday through

If you are unable to
volunteer onsite, make your own schedule as an Adopt-a-Display volunteer.
Adopt-a-Display volunteers check fixtures in retail outlets to assure that
displays are well stocked and in a prominent location and then report back to
the Children's Art Project retail operations. This can take as little as
10 minutes each week, but it is a
tremendous help! To find a retailer near you in need of adoption,
please call 713-745-2575 and ask to speak with the Adopt-a-Display coordinator. For locations outside the Houston area, please call 800-231-1580.

Donations
The Children's Art Project gives you the opportunity
to make a donation in
memory of or in honor of a loved one, friend or business associate. We also offer
the opportunity to remember a family on the anniversary of that person's
passing. Individual donations are appreciated. Your financial support helps
provide the experiences that young cancer patients need to give their lives a
degree of normalcy. In this way, you help make life better for children with
cancer. When you make a memorial donation, a card is sent to the designated
family member or friend to inform them that a gift has been made by you in
memory of their loved one. You are sent an acknowledgement as a receipt of
your donation. Visit us online to make a secure donation on our server today. To make a donation by phone,
call 800-231-1580.
Contribution Cards
If you would like to make
a donation in honor of a loved one, friend or business associate but would like
to mail the card with your own personal message, our
Contribution Cards are the
perfect solution. The cards are mailed to your home inscribed with the
message; “A Special Gift has been made on your behalf to The Children’s Art
Project at MD Anderson Cancer Center.” No sales tax is charged on
contribution cards.
